This is great news for advertisers, why
pay to advertise your business across
the UK if you only cater to your local
town. When creating your advert you specify
the town or city for which you would like
your advert to appear. If you want to
show an advert nationwide we can do that
also.
Can
I advertise on Perfect Housemate?
Flatshare services are
not permitted to advertise on Perfect
Housemate without prior express permission.
All other
types of business (including estate agents
and landlords) and individuals are welcome
to advertise with us.
Adverts will be removed
if they could be deemed inappropriate
or offensive to users of our website or
are in some other way deemed to be unsuitable.
How do I place an advert?
You can have your advert
up and running on Perfect Housemate in
minutes.
Just follow four simple steps ...

Check if your chosen town or city has
advertising space available

2: Enter the text of your advert

3: Check your advert
step
4: When you are happy with the
look of your advert purchase the adspace.
Once
paid for your advert will go live.
Note that payments are made through a
secure server provided by Worldpay.com.

Where will the adverts appear?
Adverts will appear on our search results
pages and on our members profile control
page. This is the page that members are
directed to after logging on.

How do I know my
advert won’t be lost in a multitude
of other adverts?
So that all adverts remain prominent we
are limiting the number of adverts that
will be accepted for any one town or city
to four. Two national adverts may also
be shown along with these making a maximum
of 6 adverts on a page at any one time.
All adverts remain above the line so are
easily seen by the user.
You can test if there is still advert
space available for your chosen town /
city when creating your advert. Once the
four local adverts are sold you will need
to wait for a space to become available
should you wish to advertise.
How will I know
how many times my advert as been shown?
All advertisers will be able to track
how many times their advert has been shown
in real time by logging into their impression
count page. The impression count page
can be found by clicking
here. Advertisers
use the email address supplied when placing
their advert to log in.
How
do I know that I will reach my target
audience?
In
2008 we had in excess of 2 million page
views.
