PerfectHousemate.co.uk is a roommate matching service covering the whole of the United Kingdom. The service aims to bring together people who are looking for accommodation to share with people who have a property to share. 2) Where Do I Start ? Whether you are looking for accommodation to share or offering a place to share you start by creating a profile. To do this simply click the "Create a Profile" button on the homepage or follow any of the "Create a Profile" links. Creating a profile is free to do and will only take a couple of minutes. Your profile acts as your advert, it enables other users to see what you are like and what you are looking for. If interested a user can then contact you. You are able to view the profiles of other users and contact them in the same way. 3) What is the Profile Manager ? The Profile Manager is the control panel through which you can access all of the services and facilities available to you. These include: · Searching for a roommate or houseshare · Updating your details or search criteria · Viewing or deactivating your profile · Changing your password · Managing your mailbox · Managing your Hotlist 4) How Do I Find A Roommate Or Place To Share ? Once you have created a profile you will be able to perform various types of search at the click of a button. The searches are based on the information you entered whilst creating your profile:- Quick Search - will search based on the city you are looking for only. Basic Search - searches on three criteria City, Area and Rent. Full Search Criteria - searches on the full search criteria you have specified. Perfect Search - is a two way compatability search. This means that it uses your full search criteria to find a match and then cross checks with that users search criteria to see if you meet their requirements. Any matches found using this search facility could really be your Perfect Housemate ! You are able to amend your search criteria at any time. 5) How Do I Contact Other Users ? You can send and receive messages through our in-house message facility "PerfectMail". Depending on your membership status you may also contact members directly using their email address or telephone number if it has been supplied. 6) Can I Change Or Delete My Profile ? You can change your profile details or delete your profile at any time. 7) How long will my profile remain active ? Your profile will remain active until you choose to deactivate it. In order for us to keep our adverts as current as possible we request that you deactivate your profile should you no longer require a roommate or flatshare. We reserve the right to deactivate profiles at our discretion for reasons such as, but not limited to, those profiles that we deem to be inappropriate or which we feel have expired. 8) Is My Personal Information Kept Private ? The information you choose to supply when creating your profile is intended for public viewing.
