Birstall is only 3 miles from Leicester city centre and has great local amenities (including shops, pubs and takeaways!) and transport links. There's a bus stop along the road and the buses go regularly into the city centre. There are also buses from Loughborough Road (A6), and the A6 provides easy access to many other locations, including Loughborough, Mountsorrel, Shepshed, etc. Beaumont Leys, Thurmaston and Fosse Park are all close by as well. The room is spacious and is fully furnished. It has a ridiculously comfortable, lovely & firm double bed (all bedding included)! The room also has a desk & chair, armchair, chest of drawers, built-in wardrobe, TV with Freeview, internet connection, and a fireplace. The main shared bathroom is large with a good shower, and there's also a half bathroom downstairs. The kitchen's fully equipped with microwave, washing machine, etc. Outside there's a lovely large garden (with quite a few resident wild birds, including little robins!) with a sunny patio area at the back and off-road parking is available. The house is very comfortable and well maintained. I don't have any pets at the moment but I have kind of semi-adopted a very nice male tabby cat who regularly comes here, especially when the weather gets colder! In the summer he spends lots of time outside so I don't see him as often then but in the cooler months he spends most of his time here! He's very sweet and very placid. :-)) I'm friendly, down to earth, easygoing and although I don't smoke myself I don't mind renting the room to someone who does if they smoke outside. :-) So, if you're interested in renting the room and want to arrange a viewing just let me know! * For shorter-term lets of less than 2 months the room would be charged on a weekly basis at the rate of £88 per week.   more details     Posted/Last Here ...
